Thank you for shopping with Cake House Jalandhar. Since our products are freshly prepared and perishable in nature, we follow a limited refund and return policy.
1. No Return Policy
Cakes, pastries, bakery products, and other food items once delivered cannot be returned due to hygiene and safety reasons.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds or replacements may be considered only in the following situations:
- Wrong product delivered
- Damaged product received
- Missing items in the order
- Order not delivered due to our issue
- Quality issue verified by our support team
3. Reporting an Issue
Customers must report any issue within 2 hours of delivery with clear photos/videos of the product and order details.
Complaints received after the allowed time may not be eligible for refund or replacement.
4. Cancellation Policy
- Orders can be cancelled only before preparation starts.
- Customized and designer cake orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed.
- Same-day and midnight delivery orders may not be eligible for cancellation.
5. Refund Process
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
Refund timing may vary depending on your bank, UPI app, wallet provider, or payment gateway.
6. Replacement Policy
In eligible cases, we may offer:
- Product replacement
- Store credit
- Partial refund
- Full refund
The resolution will depend on the nature of the issue after verification by our team.
7. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds or replacements will not be provided for:
- Incorrect delivery information provided by the customer
- Recipient unavailable at delivery location
- Minor design or color variations in customized cakes
- Delay caused by unavoidable circumstances such as traffic or weather
- Change of mind after order preparation
